Moments Of Solitude
The bus reached the college
earlier that day
Entering into the premises
I recalled it was a holiday
It was two hours
for the next bus to come
I was eager to go back
but waited there in gruesome
In that vacant space and vacant place
I could hear my own breath
It was as peaceful as
"the silence of death"
Abound by death,
I saw the life
Actually in the silence
they all got revived
The wind was like a music
which made the trees dance
To see them swinging merrily,
I luckily got the chance
Near me a group of ant was
marching in the parade
It seems for them,
no holidays were made
In the meanwhile, a cuckoo bird
sang a sweet small song
That gave me a bliss
as the song lingered so long
As the wind blew, I saw
a rose in the garden kissing the other
I smiled at them
but they didn't seem to bother
Hours went away lonely
But I was not frightened
The sunshine increased
As the smile of sun widened
A beautiful butterfly landed on my finger
and opened its wings
Believe me, that seemed to be the
"The World's best ring"
I wanted to stay there for long but
Suddenly I heard the horn of the bus
The butterfly flew away
when the noise broke the hush
I lost my best ring
and was again subdued
These were my very sweet
"Moments Of Solitude”
