Please don't go...

In the middle of the ocean,
Below the blazing sun,
I need your hand
From this day, to the world's end.

You are the best blessing
That God can bestow....
Please don't go.

We have shared good time
We fought the bad time,
Passing by all the length
You were my real strength.

You always make my day,
When you call and say "Hello"
Please don't go.

In my deepest darkest night,
When I was all alone to fight,
You came as my only hope
Taught me to rise up and cope.

The dead and the cold winds
Again started to blow,
Please don't go.

You always made me smile,
No matter how much the situation was fragile,
You hugged me with all your hearts
Thus it always hurts when you depart

All alone away from you,
I have started feeling low
Please don't go.

We were happy, the pictures can't lie,
Overwhelmed, I am unable to take off my eyes,
Hundreds of days, Thousands of stories
It's impossible to forget those memories,

I am sorry for my actions,
Please forgive your stupid fellow,
Please don't go,
        Please don't go....

Art By : Amrita Patnaik

Art By Ananya Behera Drawn By : Anwesha Mishra

Paperboats

Art By : Amrita Pattnaik “Shall I go to the rain?” I asked myself in fuss. Standing under under a shed, Waiting for the bus. The rain was incessant, Quenching the thirst of the dust. & I was ambivalent in that romantic mid August. I was in a hurry & Wanted the rain to stop. But my plans were bedevilled With every falling drop. I had no “dare” to step into the rain in those attire. Ironed shirt, polished shoes were stuck in the middle of the mire. Today's appointment & some stats Were written on my palm. I was freaked out but Said to myself - “keep calm”. I stepped out, & then hauled back As there was money in my wallet. This was the first time, I was going to be late. I had to reach somewhere With those assignments and reports. Then I suddenly noticed Some children, playing with paperboats. They were completely wet And were giggling a lot. All were curiously Running behind the paperboat. ...
